Zuzu is in dire need of a new collar and I was thinking about getting her this LV Baxter collar {yes, I am serious} even though no one will be able to see it because she's so hairy. Maybe. Maybe. Almost-on-the-verge-of-ordering-it-tonight maybe {Except that Nicky is adamantly against it, but that shouldn't stop me. Right?}. She's such a good dog. She deserves something nice and I don't mind spending the money on her.
...{Friday}...
We had big plans for Friday: grab some food to-go from Sentry then picnic at {where else?} Picnic Point. Well...it didn't quite happen that way. I wanted to leave a little early from work to give us enough time to enjoy our picnic before the sun set...but that wasn't possible {very important things needed to be done...like finishing my beer at my desk}. We then decided to just go to Tenney Park, but that didn't happen either {Nicky took a "slight" detour and we realized it wasn't convenient to go in that direction anymore}.
So, finally, we ended up at the Washburn Observatory just when the sun was setting. It was nice...until Zuzu went poopie and then stepped in it. {Needless to say} Nicky was not happy, because she had to sit in the back seat of his car with one poop smeared paw. It.was.hilarious.
...{Saturday}...
{A very nice older lady took the picture of all three of us, but it took her 5 minutes to figure out which button to press on Nicky's camera.}
Saturday was all about college football (Wisc vs. San Jose State - Wisconsin won, of course), but we were able to sneak away for a little bit to give Zuzu a walk on the trail. I love football season {can't wait for NFL Sunday! - Did you see Favre's sour face on Thursday? It was awesome.}. As much as I wanted to root for the Saints last year, I am a die-hard Colts fan so there was no doubt about who I wanted to win. Too bad they lost, but it was nice seeing the city of New Orleans celebrate their win {and boy can they throw a party}.
Oh, and we also had some drinks at the Great Dane {I got Nicky hooked on Mojitos}.
{Plus: I was able to wear my new Alice + Olivia Dress and use my Damier Azur Pochette.}
...{Sunday}...
Sunday = Football. Need I say more? Find us on the couch.
Hope you had a great weekend, too!
{I'm on a photo montage kick (if you haven't noticed). Putting these together was actually fun, so let's see how long this lasts...}
Commence loud squealing...now.
Dear fashion gods,
I would like to go to New York Fashion Week.
xoxo,
Nali
{This sequin skirt is very cute.}
I am looking forward to:
...taking long bubble baths...
...finally, finally getting my jeans hemmed {it will happen this weekend}...
{7 For All Mankind "A" Pocket Flare in Nikita (not to get confused with my Lexie and Cozumel A-pockets which are in a very convenient petite size)...I've been wearing these anyways even if they are too long. Ugh, I just keep buying more pairs without getting the previous ones hemmed. My new favorite brand Siwy Denim!}
...kicking my feet up and relaxing {after cleaning, of course}...
{I can't seem to get enough relaxing in.}
...and getting some more pictures taken of Zuzu for my scrapbook.
{I haven't done a very good job scrapbooking. I only have 3 pages and none are finished, so my goal is to at least finish my Zuzu page. The theme is "In the Jungle"...fitting for a Lion dog...expect lots of cute pictures to be posted this weekend.}
Have a {wonderful, wonderful} weekend!
Yes, yes not all of these are for your arms specifically but still lovely nonetheless...
{These gloves are cute and she's got my current favorite nail polish color on.}
{I love the cocktail ring trend. I'm always afraid I might scratch myself in the face, though.}
{I ♥ ♥ ♥ YSL.}
♥ Going out of my way to step on a crunchy looking leaf.
♥ Turning on the fireplace for the first time this season.
♥ Apple picking and pumpkin-patching.
♥ Putting on my favorite Fall/Winter perfume (Stella McCartney) for the first time.
♥ Hallowine {the only wine I will drink in October} and Halloween.
♥ The start of the holiday season!
♥ ...and much, much more!
The more sensible one...
{She's rockin' both items I want: LV Leopard Stole and Balenciaga bag.}
LV Leopard Stole: coming soon to my closet. Yes, it has been decided. What about the belt mentioned previously here? Well, it's been bought and will be here this week along with a very special something for the traveler that I am.

{This Proenza Schouler bag is to die for...and again the Leopard Stole.}
{I love this leather/sweatshirt jacket from Topshop.}

{This dress is also TDF.}
Fall just started and I'm already thinking about winter. We all know Wisconsin winters are brutal, so in preparation I've armed myself with:
...this Louis Vuitton Logomania Scarf...
{I still love all my Burberry scarves and will possibly get another one yet this winter! Maybe this one? For all you TPF'ers, I posted some "modeling" pics in the thread.}
...this Burberry Check Rain Boot...
{These are my winter dog park boots. I've tried UGGs (bought them when I first got Zuzu 5 years ago thinking they would be my dog walking boots), but they are just not waterproof enough for winter.}
...speaking of UGGs, I bought these for Fall/Winter...
{They will probably need to be retired when the big snow comes...such a waste.}
{I love Betty's style and this cape is spot on for Fall (capes have slowly become an obsession for me). Specifically, I have my eye on this one.}
{I really like this sweater and booties combination. Of course, I would need a chic coat/jacket to keep warm.}
{I'm not a leather jacket kind of a girl, but maybe (I said maybe) I'll finally get one this season if I find the right style. I haven't found the right one yet.}
...a chilly fall morning, orange leaves everywhere, a cup of hot coffee keeping me warm...
Today was just one of those off days in apartment 211. No one was feeling well {including the doggy} and as a result nothing was accomplished. Hopefully, a good night's sleep will bring a better tomorrow...
...with this Louis Vuitton belt...
{I want this in Amarante.}
...and this LV Initiales Monogram 40 mm belt...
{One of these will be my next LV purchase.}

3. Christian Louboutin Knotted Suede Pump
4. Louis Vuitton Belt
In
*Anchors*
We all carry these things inside that no one else can see. They hold us down like {anchors}, they drown us out at sea.
I've had a great holiday weekend to myself...
{Yes, it would have been nice to be on a beach somewhere but there is something wonderful about a weekend at home. I was able to lounge around in my pj's all day (without Nicky pacing around me) and do things when I want to do them.}
It's been a successful weekend shopping-wise.
{I'm going to need a lot more pairs to be able to do this! I also received a few special packages this weekend and was able to prance around my bedroom in all my new stuff.}
I did some much needed house cleaning.
{It's so hard to get motivated to clean, but once I started I was able to get a lot done.}
I had my fill of my favorite sandwich.
{Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches...I had it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 2 days straight and no one was here to tell me it smelled funky.}
...and finally, I did some much needed maintenance on my blog {if you haven't noticed (:}. It was definitely a good weekend, but it's not over yet so I better go eat another sandwich!
