This weekend: It's my turn to help out with the new family business (this was not the homecoming I was expecting), so it's a 7-day work week for me.

...Burberry tees in both black and white. These tees are made from a light, stretchy cotton, so they are perfect for the hot Texas weather (and soon to come...hot Arizona heat).

...Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour in Delight. I was worried this would look too much like Quartz (which I already own), but after seeing them side by side, this is a little more golden than Quartz. I guess that's justification enough to keep them both.

...Burberry Check Trim Triangle Bikini in black (looks like I need to plan a trip to the beach soon!). Since I live in Texas now, where it's (almost) perpetually Summer, I need to stock up on my warm weather clothing and accessories. I'll start thinking about those wool dresses and tights in a month, but for now - I'm still in Summer mode (lucky for me, everything is on sale since 'Fall' is coming).

- The weathermen are predicting a 'cold front' will come through this weekend (which means the temps drop from 101 to 96...ouch), so for now I think I'll stick to dresses and shorts. No complaints here!
- Change is good, right? So after almost a year, I've switched wallpapers on my iPhone - baby steps.
- And finally, no bake oatmeal peanut butter cookies are my fave, so I will have to try this recipe.
...Kim Kardashian out in New York City. I love peplum (almost as much as polka dots...almost), so I'm really anxious to replace those short-sleeve peplum tops I have with long-sleeve structured pieces for Fall.
...Anthropologie Colorblock Shirtdress. I picked up this dress last weekend to wear to Nick and I's dinner at Perry's Steakhouse, but didn't end up wearing it because I got makeup on it while trying it on...erg. Luckily, the collar is removable, so it was easy to wash. I guess I could've worn it without the collar, but I'm sure I will have plenty of opportunities to wear it in the future.
