Can't wait to go back to cuddles with my little dude
This weekend: Yay, we get our tree tonight! I ordered an artificial tree for the office, too, so we will be festive upstairs and downstairs.
- I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving weekend. I certainly ate too much (not turkey, but plenty of Bill Miller pie).
- I did some major damage holiday shopping this week (we even braved the Black Friday crowd at the outlets), but most of my damage was done online. Here are some gifts I picked up for the kiddos: {1}, {2}, and {3}.
- Not to be outdone...my favorite pick-ups for myself: {1}, {2}, {3}, {4}, {5}.
- And finally, this coming week will be about restoring some balance back into our lives (especially when it comes to eating). Nick and I have been horrible since we got back from our trip.

We can finally use our fire pit.
This weekend: It'll be a low-key weekend in preparation for Thanksgiving.
- My Christmas List just got awesome!
- Also, I tried this on in-store yesterday and was impressed, so it's going on the Christmas List, too.
- I really want to try this recipe (the slow cooker version, though).
- And finally, some inspiration to close out the week.
Cardinals vs. Niners
This (past) weekend: Nick's birthday weekend!
- We had dinner @ Mastro's to celebrate. Best.Steak.Ever.
- I attended my first NFL game this weekend. We had great seats in the redzone and the Cardinals won, yippee!
- My present to Nick! Lucky duck.
- And finally, more Christmas List items: {1}, {2}, and {3}.
Believe it or not, folks, it's November.
This weekend: Low-key working weekend.
- We celebrated our 10 year anniversary last weekend with dinner at Elements @ The Sanctuary (one of our favorite places in the Valley). It's got killer views and even better food.
- Nick also {semi} surprised me with a beautiful Tiffany bracelet (he's so good to me!).
- I'm on the road again for work this week (hopefully it's the last trip of the year), but a planned dinner at Capital Grille makes it bearable.
- And finally, it's that time of year to start thinking about my Christmas List. So far on the list this year: {1} - potential Christmas dress, {2}, and {3}.
Stuart Weitzman Lowland Over The Knee Boot in Black - my second pair of Lowlands (other one here). I couldn't decide on one color, so I bought both. If you are considering these boots, then I suggest ordering a half size smaller than what you normally wear. Also, just a warning that the shaft of the boot is slim, so if you have larger thighs/calves then this might not work for you.
