People who know me know that birthdays are kind of a big deal to me. As far as birthdays go, this is a very important year - one of those epic milestone years. As such, it deserves epic consolation gifts all year long. First up: Chanel Grand Shopping Tote (GST). This is only my second Chanel bag (first one, a jumbo flap, was purchased during another milestone year), but it took weeks for me to get the one I wanted (black with gold hardware). From what I hear, a price increase is imminent, so I'm just glad I was able to get it before that happens.

Burberry Finsdale Duffle Coat. I really had my heart set on this coat in Red, but when I saw the grey color on sale, it was hard to say no. Two really nice improvements from my first coat (but not worth the ridiculous price hike): it has a zipper (yay!) and the fabric is much thicker. I'll still be looking for the red one to go on sale, though...

This weekend: I say this all the time, but we are going to enjoy the nice weather here in AZ (because we can).
