Our trip to Italy.
This weekend: ...and we're back. It was a magical trip.
- We saw the Trevi Fountain - twice. It was packed with tourists (us being two of them) and the second time we went, I couldn't pass up the gelato shop there.
- The food was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G (like Julia Roberts in Eat, Pray, Love amazing). I could not get enough of the pasta and Nick was delighted with the coffee. The bread and pastries were just {meh} - France has them beat on this.
- Some of our many stops: Vatican City, Castel Sant'Angelo, The Colosseum, The Roman Forums, Piazza Navona (Nick's favorite), Villa Borghese, The Pantheon, The Spanish Steps...
- My favorite sites, though, were the ones we didn't plan on going to - like the cute little side streets all throughout Rome or the random Cathedral nestled within an unexpected Piazza. I think that is the reason why Rome is such a great walking city. You never know what you'll find at the next turn.
- And finally, no trip to Europe is complete without a stop at Laduree. Best.Macrons.Ever.

Hectic last couple of weeks deserves a wine night at Postino's.
This weekend: Work and some play.
- I'm trying to be an efficient packer and will only be bringing one carry-on. (Yikes!) So, I picked up some new items for the upcoming trip: {1}, {2}, and {3}.
- OMGee! This looks great!
- Hahaha, I am cracking up!
- And finally, some inspiration for this week.

This weekend: Our first trip to Little Miss BBQ was a success!
- Nail inspiration: {1} and {2}. I'm going to do this before our trip to Europe.
- Yummm, pumpkin pie cinnamon rolls! {drool}
- Madewell new arrivals I'm excited about: {1}, {2}, {3}, and {4}.
- And finally, love this cozy Fall outfit.
His and Hers Apple watches.
This weekend: Yikes! October!
- I'll be getting a taste of Fall weather while in the Midwest this week (just enough to tide me over until Arizona "Winter").
- No need for business attire, so I'm packing my favorite flannels and puffy vests.
- I chopped off my long hair and went super light! Here's the photo I showed to my stylist: hair inspiration...and here's the photo my more daring self would show her.
- To maintain my ash blonde Balayage, I'm using this shampoo from Drybar (I might try the conditioner with it, too).
- And finally, new Herschel backpack for my trip this week. It'll be a good carry-on since I need to bring two laptops!
